I want to start saving for a new camera. The camera that I have now is just a point and shoot. I am looking to up grade to a digital slr camera so I can take better photos of Bailey and Collin. I would love some feed back on what kind of cameras people have and why you like it. I could use some help narrowing my choices down.

I recommend the Cannon T1i. It shoots video in HD as well. My previous camera was the rebel xt and it served me well. (much cheaper too) However the T1i is worth every penny.
